September 2013 kick-off meeting Norrköping (Sweden); May 2014 official foundation of prognosis network in Thun (Switzerland) on Swiss initiative.

Project Partners

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Other GDISC member states are welcome to join.


The network deals with presenting and exchanging methods and experience in prognosis, analyses and verification of prognoses. The main purpose is to develop and advance tools for the prognosis of asylum claims in order to facilitate decision-making of high-level management on budgetary and resource allocation.


So far, four meetings have taken place. Norrköping (Sweden) in September 2013, Thun (Switzerland) in May 2014, Warsaw (Poland) in May 2015 and The Hague (Netherlands) in April 2016. The next meeting will take place in Stockholm (Sweden) in May 2017.
